Bio


Jacqueline Aurora Payne, M.S., L.Ac, C.SMA received her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City. Her training involved three different styles of acupuncture: Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese Style Acupuncture (KM), making her approach eclectic and unique. By utilizing multiple styles, she is able to tailor her treatments to the individual patient with respect to age, basic underlying constitutions and tolerance levels.  

Upon graduation from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture, Jackie was invited by the school to join the faculty as an assistant supervisor.


In post-graduate studies, Jackie has completed the Sports Medicine Acupuncture® Certification (SMAC) program where she obtained over 245 hours of advanced sports acupuncture training. She has also taken numerous post-graduate courses in Esoteric Acupuncture.


Jackie has also studied at the Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. She is certified in the Nada Protocol for drug and alcohol abuse by the Lincoln Acupuncture Training Institute in Bronx, NY. Jackie is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM and licensed by the State of New York.

Jackie views her role of acupuncturist not as a healer, but as a facilitator of change or “change-agent”.  She is committed to giving the power of one’s own health back to the patient by helping the mind/body heal itself.
